Thank you for reading my blog! I have created this blog to keep my family and friends updated on my new life adventure after I graduate from Millikin University on May 20th.
This last semester of my college experience has flown by! I have already finished my student teaching placement at Argenta-Oreana Elementary School in the 5th grade. It was a wonderful experience and was better than anything that I could have imagined. I had an amazing cooperating teacher that taught me a lot about teaching and about myself. I could go on and on with stories and lessons that I have learned in student teaching... so if you would like to know more, just ask! I'd be happy to share these stories with you.
Over the summer, I have an internship at Blackhawk Church in Madison, Wisconsin. (This is the church that Katie and Mike go to!) I will be working on the Middle School Ministry Team.
As far as real teaching jobs are concerned, I have a lot of prospective schools, but no jobs yet. Since I have finished student teaching, I am spending all my time applying for jobs and raising money for my Summer Internship. Hopefully, I will soon get more interviews and call-backs. Prayers and crossed fingers are appreciated! :)
